Gianna Cothren is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Orleans and a professional licensed engineer in Louisiana. Her research efforts include the development and application of Geographic Information Systems, Stormwater and Water Quality modeling and management with HMS, SWMM and HSPF. She is particularly interested in green infrastructure and specifically low impact development designs for sustainable stormwater management.
