Seyyed Ahmadreza Shahangian is a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a teaching assistant at the School of Civil Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran. He received his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2015, and his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch in 2012. He has published 5 articles in peer-reviewed journals (Journal of Environmental Management, Urban Climate, Water Resources Management, Sustainability) during 2021-2022, 10 articles in Iranian peer-reviewed journals, and the national and international conference proceedings in Urban Water Management. He is intrigued by the idea of integrating social science into engineering knowledge in an attempt to find more effective solutions for planning and managing water-related issues. He currently Focuses on "Investigating Socio-Psychological Determinants of Residential Water Conservation Behaviors" and "Modeling the Acceptance of Water-Efficiency Behaviors among Iranian Households Using Psychosocial Theories and Agent-Based Modeling". His research interests include Urban Water Demand Management, Environmental Psychology, Water Conservation Behaviors, Social Theory, Agent-Based Modeling, Water and Wastewater Modeling, and Environmental Impact Assessment.
