Clare Murphy-Hagan is currently a graduate student at University of California Riverside studying the fate and transport of microplastic pollution within aquatic systems. She is particularly interested in fluvial transport and water driven geomorphic processes. Prior to joining The Gray Lab at UCR in 2020, Ms. Murphy-Hagan worked as an Environmental Scientist at AECOM. While at AECOM she was heavily involved in field monitoring and investigations in surface water, groundwater and sediments.
