Currently retired from more than 40 years of experience in civil engineering managing the planning and design of water and recycled water systems, pump stations, pipelines, tanks and flood control and drainage facilities. From 1968 to 1973 in U.S. Army Security Agency; served in Vietnam and Germany. From 1976 to 1997 worked for consultants in San Francisco, Denver, and San Diego Served as the contract City Engineer for the City of La Mesa for 2 years. From 1997 to 2017 was Vice President at Kimley-Horn and Associates in San Diego and Sacramento.
