Ali Saeidi is Professor at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He is holding the Canada Research Chair in Forecasting and Prevention of Risks Related to Hydro-geotechnical Hazards. He received his PhD degree in civil engineering from École des Mine de Nancy in France. His specialties include experimental rock mechanics and risk analysis in geotechnical engineering.
