Serhii Telyma, Ph.D., is a senior researcher in the applied hydrodynamics department of the Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Dr. Telyma earned his doctorate in specialty "Reclamation and irrigation agriculture" from the Institute of reclamation and irrigation agriculture of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine in 1988. His scientific areas of activity – are hydrodynamics of water flows and hydraulic engineering, water resources research, protection of the surrounding media from submergence and flooding, and investigation of the problems of contamination of the surface and ground waters. He is the author of more than 150 published scientific research.
