Ivo Daniel is a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Smart Water Networks in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Systems at TU Berlin. He is an Industrial Engineer by background and master’s degree from Karlsruhe Institute for Technology.

Ivo’s main research interest concerns Data-driven methods for anomaly detection in Water Distribution Networks, targeting e.g. leakages and other non-revenue water losses. Additional research is being conducted investigating sewage operations under rainfall forecast conditions, considering the influence of blockages caused by sewage pump clogging in case of combined wastewater and rainwater sewage systems.
