Associate Professor
University of Colorado Boulder
Prof. Kasprzyk is associate professor in the Civil Environmental and Architectural Engineering Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research group focuses on multi-objective decision making and model diagnostics for engineering problems. Areas of focus include water resources planning and management, environmental engineering applications, and advancing methodological contributions to decision making and optimization under uncertainty. Methods used in the research range from high performance computing with millions of simulation model runs, to interactive workshops with stakeholders that assess the extent to which the optimization tools developed in this research are applicable to real-world decision making. He holds the BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Penn State University and is the recipient of the Early Career Research Excellence prize from the International Environmental Modelling and Software Society and the Outstanding Scholar Alumni Award from the Penn State Schreyer Honors College.
