Assistant Professor
University of Kansas
Dr. Admin Husic is an Assistant Professor in KU’s Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering Department. His research interests center on the impact of human activity in changing water, sediment, and nutrient pathways to waterbodies. He uses laboratory-scale experimentation, numerical modeling, isotope tracing, and high-frequency sensing to explore anthropogenic influences to on the water cycle. He completed his PhD in 2018 from the University of Kentucky. His recent publications include “Quantification of nitrate fate in a karst conduit using stable isotopes and numerical modeling” and “Optimal Transport for Assessing Nitrate Source-Pathway Connectivity.”
