Tao Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cincinnati (UC). He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. Before joining UC, he was an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan, where he served as a research faculty member with the Center for Wireless Integrated MicroSensing and Systems (WIMS2). His research interests include micromachined sensors and actuators, microsystems and sensor networks for biomedical and environmental applications, sensor interface and embedded systems, microsystem packaging, and nontraditional microfabrication technologies. He has authored >40 journal and conference publications and book chapters and has nine patents issued or pending.
