Dr. Deng is a professor of water resources engineering at Louisiana State University. He is also an Envision Sustainability Professional. He specializes in environmental restoration of impaired waterbodies and watersheds through remote sensing-based monitoring, watershed-based modeling, and LID-based mitigation. He has published over 80 refereed journal papers in these areas.
