Ph.D. Student/Research Assistant
North Carolina State University
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University in June 2018. After my graduation, I worked for nine months as an assistant expert at Life Climate and Energy and focused on climate change, voluntary carbon markets, renewable energy development, carbon abatement projects, and emission trading systems. In order to increase my knowledge of energy markets and power system operations, I started Master of Science in Natural Resources program at North Carolina State University and received my degree in May 2021. Immediately after that, I started Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry and Environmental Resources program. I have been working on modeling power systems for three years and I have experience in production cost modeling, power systems analysis, optimization, energy modeling, data science, and machine learning.
