Ece Ari Akdemir is a second-year Ph.D. student working with Dr. Jordan Kern. She received a Master of Science degree in Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Science at North Carolina State University. She moved on to the Forestry and Environmental Resources department for her Ph.D. She is working on many-objective optimization of biofuel pathways.
