Dr. Imran has BE from Sind Agriculture University, he earned his MS degree in Bioresource Engineering (irrigation) at Oregon State University, USA. After earning his first MS he went to Iowa State University, Ames, USA, for his another MS and Ph.D. in Biosystems Engineering (Drainage and Water Quality) (1999), with scholarship honored to him by the World Bank. He served at Iowa State University for four years after his doctorate degree. In 2004 he joined University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, where he worked for 8 years, and still affiliated as a Scientist. Dr. Imran has more than 25 years of experience in climate change, water quantity and quality, irrigation and drainage, and hydrologic modeling of surface and subsurface hydrology. The research experience also includes comprehensive knowledge of watershed scale computer models for nonpoint/point source pollution control.Dr. Imran has authored more than 100 papers in national/international refereed journals and conference proceedings.
