Taylor Kihoi

Associate Professional Engineer
City of Santa Cruz

Taylor Kihoi is an Associate Professional Engineer with the City of Santa Cruz Water Department.

Taylor’s educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He began his professional career in 2009 as a water resources consultant with a focus on drainage, pressurized hydraulic systems, dams and levees, mining and oil/gas projects.

In 2016, he began work as a municipal engineer with the City of Santa Cruz. His current work can be summarized as such: preparation and administration of contracts; development of planning studies and design documents related to water facilities (diversions, distribution, treatment, etc.); construction management responsibilities; and the supervision and review of private development plans for water infrastructure.
