Assistant Professor
Lafayette College
Christa Kelleher is an Assistant Professor at Lafayette College in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She earned her BS from Lafayette College in the same department, and a MS and PhD from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. She spent time as a postdoctoral scholar at Duke University, and several years as an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, before returning to Lafayette. Her expertise is in hydrology and hydrology education, and she is especially interested in the relationship between form (the way a river or watershed “looks”) and function (the way a river or watershed “responds”). More and more, her work is focusing on the hydrology of human impacted areas, particularly urbanized or urbanizing watersheds.
