Joshua Knight, PE, PhD, has over 25 years of experience in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), environmental and sustainability engineering fields and 19 years of international development experience collaborating on sustainable, community-driven WASH and Disaster Response projects. Joshua is the Disaster Response Field Leader at Global Hope Network International (ghni.org) in Denver, Colorado, bringing immediate help and transitioning to long-term sustainability for people suffering from emergencies. GHNI walks alongside communities to empower villagers to lift themselves out of poverty using local staff to provide knowledge-sharing in the areas of Water, Food, Health, Education and Income Generation. Joshua also advises masters students at Regis University on Environmental Engineering and International Development. Joshua is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with Doctorate of Engineering (PhD, Civil Environmental) and is a Wilderness First Responder with First Aid/CPR who loves to work with all peoples on long-term solutions in WASH, sustainability and energy.
