Belinda Sturm is a professor and Ross McKinney Faculty Fellow in the Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering Department at the University of Kansas, where she has taught since 2006. She holds BS in Public Health from the Environmental Science & Engineering Department at the University of North Carolina, and a PhD in Civil Engineering and Geological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame. Her research areas include wastewater treatment technologies, resource and energy recovery from wastewaters, and microbial impacts on water quality.
