Abbas Sharifi studied mechanical engineering at Urmia University in Iran between 2010 and 2014. In 2016, he graduated from the Urmia University of Technology (UUT) with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. Besides handling the fluid dynamics laboratory at UUT, he also was responsible for teaching OpenFoam and C++ programming. His master's thesis aimed to study the effects of magnetic drug targeting in blood vessels. Abbas has experience working on multidisciplinary research projects. As a researcher in artificial intelligence (gene expression programming, neuro-fuzzy algorithms, and wavelet), he published several articles on biomedical engineering. In addition, he completed numerous projects in image processing related to neuroscience, COVID-19, breast cancer, and machine learning.
