Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Spatial Sciences, and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware. His research area focuses on the study of integrated human and water systems, developing modeling tools and cyberinfrastructure that can provide insights into the complexity of the integrated systems, as well as inform evidence-based decision-making on water security issues in the ever-changing environment. Dr. Hu is currently leading the Water Security Lab at the University of Delaware.
