Hydraulic Engineer (UNNE, Argentina, 2000), Civil Engineer (UFRGS, 2003) with a master's and doctorate in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation (IPH-UFRGS, 2002 and 2007). Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC-UFSM) and permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Engineering (PPGEAmb-UFSM), a course of which he was coordinator from 2013 to 2019. Responsible for the disciplines of hydrological modeling and urban drainage and advisor of 16 master's, 3 doctorates and more than 75 undergraduate students (TCCs / internships / ICs) and co-advisor of 3 master's. CNPq Research and Productivity Fellow since 2017, he participates and coordinates several research and extension projects related to Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation, as leader of the Hydroenvironmental Modeling and Ecotechnologies Research Group (ecotecnologias.org). Awarded as Featured Reviewer (2018) and Best Case Study (2013) by the J. of Hydrologic Engineering here he is currently a member of the editorial board.
