Zarif Khero is Chief Engineer in Irrigation Department Government of Sindh, Pakistan. Mr. Khero have an experience of 26 years in the field of water resources management in the Province of Sindh, Pakistan. He received his M.E degree in Irrigation and Hydraulic Structures from MUET Jamshoro, Sindh.
He has long experience of water distribution system in Pakistan. Under his supervision, project for Supplying water to Asia’s biggest Coal reserves in Sindh, is being constructed. This project aims to provide alternative source of energy for Pakistan. He is keen in the estimation of surface and groundwater balance in the province of Sindh to assess availability on basin level.
Mr. Khero has the experience of dealing floods of Indus and the floods in the plains of Sindh province. During the flood 2010 he was the Executive Engineer Sukkur Barrage and presently dealing with the floods in the central and south-eastern Sindh.
