University of Minnesota, USA
Dr. Rajneesh Singh is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Minnesota in the USA. Before this, he has been a postdoctoral fellow with Nebraska Water Center, USA, for two years. Dr. Rajneesh earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar in 2019 and an M. Tech. Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2014. Rajneesh does research focused on the remediation of water, wastewater, and stormwater runoff. Specifically, he is interested in developing and applying cost-effective, sustainable, and easy-to-use water/wastewater/stormwater treatment technologies to minimize pollution within the surface water bodies. His prior research works have involved the application of vermifiltration, wetlands, aquaponics, and biofiltration to treat effluents from feedlot runoff, dairies, breweries, and aquaculture. He is currently working on the management of urban stormwater runoff to control the pollution/eutrophication of surface water bodies.
