Research Assistant Professor
University of Texas at Arlington
Dr. Li is a Research Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Arlington. He obtained his Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. He has been working on surface hydrology and water resources problems for nearly a decade including floodplain studies, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, reservoir operations, and management, water resources planning, water treatment, hydrodynamic simulation, stormwater management modeling, and water quality assessment. Not only has he accomplished many projects in water resources aspects, but he has also actively worked in the area of hydrologic/hydraulic analysis for flooding prediction and warning. Dr. Li has also played critical roles in the following development efforts and made significant contributions to the field of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, drainage network modeling, flood forecasting, and flood regulation. His passion is in the WATER to make the world a more sustainable and resilient place for future generations and beyond.
