Dr. Konstantinos Oikonomou is an electrical engineer in the Energy & Environment Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where he studies the operation, optimization, economics, and resilience of interdependent critical infrastructures. His research interests also include designing electricity market participation frameworks for active power and water distribution networks and developing physics-based models to capture dynamic multiscale interactions, feedbacks, and flexibility across power and water systems including hydropower resources.
