My career spans more than 50 years of public and private sector global experience in water resources and environmental engineering, hydrology and hydraulic design, reservoir systems analysis, and water resources planning, economics, and policy. I hold undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees from University of South Florida and the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addtion to Professional Engineer, my professional credentials include include Diplomate Water Resources Engineer (AAWRE), Professional Hydrologist (AIH), Board-Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE), and ENVISION Sustainability Professional (ISI). Several of my peer-reviewed papers and articles have appeared in the ASCE Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management (JWRPM), the Hydrological Sciences Journal (HSJ), and other periodicals. I am an ASCE Life Member, an EWRI Fellow, and am currently serving as an Associate Editor of the JWRPM. Recently I was elected to the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Hydrology as VP of Policy and Advocacy.
