Graduate Research Assistant
University of Texas-Arlington
Engineer of water resources with expertise in hydrology, hydrodynamics, and investigations of machine learning. At the moment, I am a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s Hydrology & Hydroinformatics Innovation lab. Before joining our study team, I spent nearly four (4) years working as a water resource engineer in a large consulting firm and worked on several projects that entailed constructing hydrologic and hydrodynamic models, models for urban drainage systems, riverine flood prediction with deep learning. In my present position as a GRA, I am analyzing how machine learning practices might be helpful for wetland restoration and urban flood prediction throughout the USA for an EPA and NASA funded projects.
