Saeed Langarudi is an Associate Professor of System Dynamics at the University of Bergen (UiB). His research is focused on the dynamics of
natural resource (over)extraction and its interconnections with socioeconomic development at local, regional, and national levels. Saeed is a co-founder of the Collective Learning Meetings (CLMs), a peer mentoring setting that has been active and serving under-resourced students globally since 2013. Started in 2015, he has been a co-chair of the Security, Stability, and Resilience (SSR) thread of the \International Conference of the System Dynamics Society. In 2019, he co-founded the Water Special Interest Group within the society. Saeed is also a founding co-principal-investigator of the Transboundary Groundwater Resiliency Research (TGRR) collaboration network funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF). Further, he is a committee member of the Computational Social Science Society of the Americas.
