IIHR - Hydroscience and Engineering
Troy Lyons is a Research Engineer and the Associate Director of IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering at the University of Iowa. He holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has expertise in design of hydraulic structures, physical modeling, river hydraulics, sediment transport, and fish passage. His work focuses on applied research of hydraulic structures using both physical and numerical modeling techniques. He has extensive experience in the testing and design of drop shafts and deep tunnels in projects around the world.
