Richard Gustafson is a professor at the University of Washington and holds Denman Endowed Chair of Bioresource Science and Engineering. He received his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Washington. He does research on developing processes to produce fuels, chemicals, and products from biomass, techno/economic assessment, and life cycle assessment.
