Dr. Landon Marston is an assistant professor at Virginia Tech in The Charles Edward Via, Jr. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Marston holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a M.E. from Texas A&M University, and a B.S. from the University of Kentucky, all in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He also has a M.B.A. from the University of Kentucky. Before pursuing his doctorate, he worked in both the private and public water sector. Dr. Marston’s research evaluates human-water systems with the aim of producing new understanding and solutions towards sustainable water resources management.
