Roman Hlushchenko, a Ph.D. candidate, is an Associate Researcher at the Environmental Department, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. His primary research interest focuses on the environmental friendliness of urban planning, renewable energy sources, and "green" technologies. Roman is paying particular attention to implementing "green" technologies in megacities, namely flood control systems through the construction of "green" roofs and road surfaces for efficient drainage and collection of rainwater. His research also included questions about saving water resources and the rationality of their use.
