Olena Voloshkina, D.Sc., a Professor at the department of environmental protection technologies and labor safety of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Her research includes the following main areas: the influence of processes of natural-technogenic flooding of territories on their ecological safety, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the construction industry, impact of climate change on significant life-sustaining resources. Professor Voloshkina has more than 160 published scientific studies. From 1997 to the present, she has been a vital member of many international research projects and currently working on Erasmus+ projects. Professor Voloshkina also works on the editorial boards of several scientific journals in Ukraine as a deputy of editorial. Many of her former students received doctorate degrees, and she is always happy to see the positive impact of her students' research on making environmental sustainability to avoid depletion or degradation of natural resources.
