Mr. Jalil Abdul is a doctoral Engineer student at Morgan State University and he is a project manager working with the City of Baltimore Department of Public Work (DPW) with the Environmental Engineering Project Delivery Section. Mr. Abdul has accomplished working on urban stream restoration design and construction projects in his career for the City of Baltimore to meet Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit goal and his responsibility was to reviews and evaluate engineering plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates in compliance with departmental standards, technical requirements, and appropriate code requirements. He has also worked on the Maryland State Highway Research project with Morgan State University professors to provide guidance to SHA for routine maintenance of culverts requiring grout paving and to assist SHA in meeting Maryland’s water quality standard for pH.
