Dr. Johnson has a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah. Currently, he is working with Alabama Water Center as an AI Research Scientist. His research interests include the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve snowpack-dependent urban water systems’ resilience, reliability and vulnerability in a changing climate.
