Dr. Adnan Rajib is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. Dr. Rajib’s research focuses primarily on sustainable earth with emphasis on climate and anthropogenic risks and corresponding big data informatics. Dr. Rajib leads multiple federal-funded projects as the Principal Investigator including those from NASA, NSF, and Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture, and Department of the Interior. As part of his professional leadership roles, Dr. Rajib is serving as the Technical Advisor to the State and Tribal Wetland Programs of the Environmental Law Institute and the Chair of the American Society of Civil Engineers 'Mapping and Modeling of Wetland Hydrology in River Basin-scales' Task Committee. Dr. Rajib was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the US EPA Office of Research and Development during 2017-2019. Earlier in Spring 2017, Dr. Rajib received Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University with the prestigious Purdue Civil Engineering Outstanding Graduate Student award.
