Earth Scientist & Applied Hydro-Climatologist

Kazi Tamaddun works as an Earth Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He also holds an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment (ESE) at the University of Virginia (UVA). His areas of expertise are hydro-informatics, bio-geo-physical modeling, hydro-climatological modeling, 1D/2D hydraulic modeling, system dynamics modeling and simulation, and application of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) in hydro-climatology. As an Earth Scientist at PNNL, Kazi has worked on numerous projects on the water and energy nexus funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Interior (DOI), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
