My research interest is in the area of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application for assessment of the environment. I have completed Ph.D. in Renewable Natural Resources Studies with Natural Resources Studies and Geographic Information Systems as major areas of concentration from University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, USA. After completing my PhD, I worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Energy-Water-Ecosystem Engineering Group, Environmental Sciences Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge,
Tennessee for almost two years. For my current job as a Research Scientist at California Water Institute and Center for Irrigation Technology at California State University, Fresno, I have the opportunity to lead, manage and conduct research projects at a broad range of areas which includes water resources management, agricultural water management, and water-energy nexus utilizing GIS and remote sensing technology.
