The Computational Hydraulics Technical Committee serves as a conduit and source of information, and to promote understanding, regarding the latest methods, procedures, and applications related to hardware and software used in determining water and water quality characteristics and prediction in natural and artificial environments. Meeting topics include a briefing of the EWRI Council Weekend; updates from active task committees (Calibration/Validation Of Free-Surface Hydraulic Models, Highly-resolved numerical models and their applications to hydraulics, Advancement of 3D Free-Surface Flow Model Verification and Validation Methodology, and Urban Flood Modeling); EWRI 2024 session suggestions and moderator volunteers; proposals for new task committees, webinars, workshops, short courses and seminars; and invitations to new members.
